The country’s telecom regulator has decided to set up an online customer redressal mechanism, providing a platform for dissatisfied consumers to express their complaints against their service providers.

It plans to have the platform working from  April 1, 2010

The customer can register any complaints, violations or any other grievance against their any mobile operator. the operator in question will immediately get the complaint.

“We can then see as to what per cent of customer complaints are addressed,” a Trai official said

” We are looking at different technologies to explore if SMS or voice calls can also be made part of the online customer redressal platform,” the Trai official added.

    ….dear customer, your request of mobile number portability is reject by idea/spice(GSM) due to there are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement.
    plzz help above portablity idea to aircel.

  3. I am having a reliance pre-paid mobile for last one year. Though call rates are cheaper than other mobile operators, they ae charging inorbitant chrges for the services we have not opted for. Last year they reduced my balance by more than hundred (100) rupees for caller tunes, which I did not subscribe. recently they reduced my balance by Rs. 50/-. When I enquired from customer care, the customer care executive did not give satisfactory reply and informed that I would have subscribed for news updates they can not reverse the charges. I doubt that the owners of this type of companies are becoming billionnaire by cheating common people.

  4. i submitted documents in BSNL office to port in vodafone to BSNL. I have 5 times requested in BSNL. but every times vadafone have reject my mnp service.

  5. ive been using reliance gsm and have been facing a lot of problems regarding my balance deductions its been more dan 7 to 8 times after my repeated requests ive been forced to use some unwanted service packs its been from long ive been facing this and after contacting customer care ive been irritated with their behaviour they always try to blame the customer for all this giving all shit reasons and making fool of customers its not only me ive known many people who have same experince i have one more number i have same experience with that too these people just take some random numbers who have balance n activate such useless packs to fill their pockets a strict action must be taken on them so dat they dun fool people again and again unwantedly they dun hav a good customer care too the way the talk was not at all satisfactory its contiously second month ive been forced to use a service

  6. Idea operator cheating custome by providing incomplete information to customer.

    Ii got message form idea cellular that if i recharge mobile of rs 60 then i will get 120 minutes free. i rechareg my mobile at 21-Feb-2011 of rs 60. but i was unable to call from mobile. when i contact customer care they inform that this servie is forl local call while in sms it was not mention.

  7. i am a vodafone postpaid user , they are not converting post paid to pre paid for number potabilty to swtich to another net work they are asking pay the premieum thwy only they will mnp it seems , so kindly take action against it

  8. My Tata Docomo sim is Blocked because of wrong PUK Code filled in by me.
    Customer care say that i will have to buy new duplicate sim at Rs 50.Only then I will get the balance in new sim transferrred

  9. I have a complaint against IDEA cellular, which I found one of worst mobile operator in India in comparison to others. Every mobile operators have some problems, but this company is looting common peoples’ money like anything.

    I am also user of Vodafone and Reliance CDMA, but never found any problem from financial point of view. But IDEA is technically poor and behaviour like DON.

    I have discontinued IDEA due to overbilling of my connection. I show them some numbers which I do not know. I talked with their relationship manager who has conveyed a wrong message. After some time I got a call from “delhi district court” and told me that IDEA has filed a case against me due to I have not paid only Rs. 851. This call was fake, I never found any court call to appellant, without sending any letter.

    As a mobile technologist I visit most of the mobile operators’ room but I never found this type of poor and crap COMPANY.

    Shame on this company. Please avoid IDEA they have no track record how they are generating customers’ bill.

I AM USING RELIANCE LAND LINE FROM 2008 TILL DATE , FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS I AM NOT GETTING SIGNAL IN MY OFFICE , I HAD CALLED CUST CARE SEVERAL TIMES , TILL NOW I AM NOT ABLE TO MAKE OR RECIEVE CALL PROPERLY , KINDLY ADVICE HOW TO SOLVE THE COMPLAINT , I AM USING 04 NO RELIANCE PHONE , NONE OF THEM IS HAVING SIGNAL IN MY OFFICE

    i m a very gud user of airtel n using it 4m starting.m doing msgs in bulk
    in my groups,but 4m yesterday m very unhappy that i can do only 100 msgs in a day.pls do sumthing,n stop dis policy..otherwise u will loose ur customers.this is mine humble request.

    i wanna know abt whether 3g service will be provided from satellite or from mobile network tower. because problem is that no company providing good GPRS service in my area. so if 3g comes from mobile tower than its no use for me…waiting for ur positive reply..

    iam airtel subcriber which give very bad service to me from last two months, they activate any service on my number without my permission also deduct money for service. also faceing call drop problem. so pls take action on it

  18. We have rised porting request for changing our company CUG numbers to Vodafone. But even after making full payment & getting the NOC from IDEA, our current service provider IDEA cellular Ltd. is rejecting the Porting request by saying
    the reason ” Porting rejected due to Contractual Obligations”.Pls. suggest How we
    can direct highlight the matter to TRAI OR suggest any other way to resolve the issue
