Tata Docomo Launched 3G Mobile Broadband in India

Tata Docomo IndiaThe joint venture between Tata and Japan’s NTT  Docomo, Tata Docomo has Launched 3G services in IndiaRyuji Yamada,President and CEO of NTT DoCoMo said

“After nearly a decade of success in providing 3G service in Japan, we are delighted to have lent our technical and business knowhow to TTSL, our strategic global partner. Going forward, NTT DoCoMo will continue to leverage its mobile expertise and value-added services in markets worldwide through collaboration with partners such as TTSL.”

Tata Docomo has Launched 3G in all nine circles where it had won 3G spectrum

According to THE HINDU Tata Docomo will start offering the service on commercial basis from the Tomorrow midnight [5th November] on Diwali.

Tata Docomo had won 3G spectrum in Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP West, Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra

Till now only governmnet operators BSNL and MTNL were offering 3G services
But now Tata Docomo has joined the race and has became the first private mobile operator to Launch 3G sevices

With 3G , Users will be able to access high speed internet right in ther mobile phones. Tata Docomo claims that it has managed to built  a 3G network and is capable of offering speeds of upto 21.1 Mbps
Further Users will also be able to make Video calls using the 3G Network
