Telecom Regulator Authorithy of India [TRAI] said

“The number series for fixed networks are still not allocated by DoT. The matter has been taken up on an urgent basis to allocate the number series to telemarketers for fixed networks”

Vodafone gains 1.9 Lakh users from MNP

According to official figures by the Department of Telecom ( DoT )

“A total of 19,79,600 numbers of subscribers have ported their numbers so far using the MNP facility,”

Aircel Launches RCV 246, 800 Local mins To Any Network

Aircel, the fasted growing pan Indian mobile telephony operator and the latest footstep maker in Indian 3G market launches two different RCV for local calling to any network for the customer of Kolkata and ROB(Rest of Bengal) circle. The denominations of these two RCVs are Rs.99 and RS.246 respectively.
