Yes you read it right, Google is buying Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion

One of the main reasons for Google deciding to buy Motorola Mobility is the increasing patent issues from Leading manufacturers like Apple and Microsoft toward its Android Devices

Leading mobile manufactures like HTC , Samsung mobiles whose many mobiles today are known for google’s android operating system has already welcomed Google’s move on buying Motorola Mobility

Search engine giant Google is buying Motorola Mobility and this deals with motorola mobile phones. So with this Google has Entered Mobile Hardware and you can expect a couple of good android mobiles from motorola now!

Google Chief Executive Officer Larry Page said in a conference call

“We believe we’ll be in a very good position to protect the Android ecosystem for all of the partners”

Android would remain an open-source platform available to all of the company’s hardware partners even after Google-Motorola deal is completed
Previously, Google bought more than 1,000 patents in July from International Business Machines Corp.
