Total Wireless subscriber base in India has increased from 840.28 Million in May 2011 to 851.70 Million at the end of June 2011
Out of this, Urban Subscriber has contributed 66.02 percent while Rural Subscribers has got 34.00 percent in it
The government mobile operators Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited [BSNL] and MTNL has got only 11.65 percent market share in it and the rest is with private mobile operators

Wireline subscriber base in India as of June 2011 is 34.29 Million Subscribers
In this segment government operators BSNL and MTNL, has the mojority of 82.14 percent market share
While other private operator like Tata and reliance has 3-4 percent and Bharti Airtel has 9-10 percent of market share in the wireline segment
Total Broadband subscriber base in India is 12.32 million [Till June 2011]
